10 Year Anniversary

2016-17 marks the 10th year since the club was formed, in that time we've grown rapidly and had some amazing experiences, meeting some amazing people along the way!

We'd love to bring everyone back together, including old and new members, and their families, for a big birthday reunion in Snowdonia over Easter 2017.

We've booked the biggest hut in Snowdonia, but we still only have 46 beds, so please book early to avoid dissapointment - we'll be able to offer camping too if we need more space though

We'll be holding our Anniversary party at the Chamois Mountaineering Centre, near Llanberis in Snowdonia.

The centre sleeps 46 people in dormitories of 3,4,6 and 8 in bunk beds. There's seperate Male and Female washrooms, with showers, sinks and toilets.

There's a big kitchen and a dining room, common room/lounge and a boot room too.

Bedding is not provided, so you'll need a sleeping bag - if you're coming from abroad, or just don't own one, have a chat with our Kit officer and see what's available (on a first come first served basis)

We're aware that a lot of returning members will be travelling some distance to be with us, so we're making it a nice long weekend, using the Easter Break.

We'll start the trip on Good Friday, 15th April 2017, and we'll have exclusive use of the hut until the Monday 18th April, so you can get four good days of climbing, mountaineering, or general exploring packed in

Obviously, it's a party! but, it's also a chance to enjoy the Welsh Mountains from a brilliant location.

Everyone is welcome to do what they like while we're here, but we'll be putting on some guided sessions, Climbing, Scrambling and walking, as well as maybe some other mountain sports such as cycling and paddlesports.

We'll have a big Party on the Saturday night, with Kegs of beer, a monster BBQ, music and dancing, and the other evenings we'll spend sharing stories and catching up.

We'll provide limited catering - Breakfast and Dinners, including the club's famous Full English (Welsh) Breakfast one morning, although we'll ask you to provide your own BBQ meat and lunches.

Everyone is welcome, we'd love to see all our old friends who've gone back to their homes, in the UK and across Europe or further afield.

We realise that many of our members now have families, and we'd encourage you to bring them too, as always, we'll make everyone feel welcome.

Book your beds through our Paypal link below.

There's only 46 beds, so please be quick booking them - once we've run out of beds, we'll work out a cost for camping, covering just the food etc. for any additional members who want to come along.

If you're likely to be travelling in by air or rail, we'll try to arrange to collect you at a pre-set time, we'll sort a minibus to collect from Manchester and Liverpool airports, and we'll pick up from Chester Railway station too.

If you're coming by car, just come along at your own leisure.
